A Time For Everything, A Season...

So now a week since Mum passed away and my children return late tonight from their holiday. It will be nice to be back together and to plan the funeral.
In the week I have found repetitive tasks so therapeutic. A time to think and be in my own space.
Sewing:
Raking leaves and listening to the birds - some flying geese:

Stroking the cat - that old wise friend Smartie:

Tidying some equipment:

...and smelling the sweet scents of Autumn in the garden.

  1. Clare, my thoughts are with you as you grieve for your mother. I have 'been there' and know how hard it is - and will be, for some time. May God's peace envelope you.

  3. Yes, and having your children back home will give you comfort and strenght too, to take you through the funeral.

    Still thinking of you, Clare.
