We reached the point ...

Yesterday we reached the point....
Mum passed away. One day after her 84th birthday after many years struggle...
I keep on walking, moment by moment.
Feeding the soul and doing what needs to be done.

Making sure each act is savoured...

Pain feeds growth.

Here she was in 2005, in Barbara Hepworth's garden in St. Ives, Cornwall with my son Tom. It was one of her favourite places

  9. Thinking of you Clare. It's not easy to lose a parent. My Dad died the day after his birthday this year too.

  13. Yes, 'pain feeds growth', that's true - still I'm deeply sorry for your big loss, dear Clare.

But the pictures in your post make me feel very sure that your mum will stay close in your mind and in your work.

And you've got many friends thinking of you in these troubled times - I'm one of them.
