At last the Crow quilt is hung. I find the process from binding on through sleeve etc totally horrendous. In the end though it is worth it. I just have to find the right place for it. Out in the sun was nice!!
Also finished last night was this cross stitch. It's on 28count linen with Week's Dye Works and Gentle Arts hand dyed threads which are lovely to work with when the light is right, I'm not tired and I'm not tipsy (that'll be the months with a "z" in them then).
Oh yes and here is another crow!
Beautiful Claire! If you run out of spaces to hand things you should sell them on your blog. MH
ReplyDeleteYour crows look a whooooole lot more friendly than the ones that hang out round our neighborhood :)
ReplyDeleteTHanks Millenium - do you really think I could?
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt - crows are such interesting creatures, and that's a fabulous felted bag too.... found you thru Ann Somerset!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Claire you could open an Etsy store for sure! I love your crows!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Dionne
Love the crows, and I shall visit again, but as another pedant, I couldn't resist commenting on your comment to Paula; decimate means to reduce by a tenth, not to split into ten, so your usage was probably correct!
ReplyDeletenice to finish things isnlt it? the quilt looks gret!
ReplyDeleteYour crow quilt is so charming....
ReplyDeleteThey surely are interesting birds.
