A postcard of our hometown is required for an exhibition by Wolverhampton Embroiderers' Guild. I have hovered and hivvered over this but finally one popped out from under the needle today. We have a lovely example of a Victorian municipal park in the town with a rather beautiful conservatory in its midst. The banana plant in there always fascinated me as a child (it didn't take much in 1970s Wolverhampton!). It was nearly as exotic as Arctic Roll and Angel Delight.
A lovely interpretation.
