Today I turned the earth in preparation.
The birds had a good feed, the soil is aired, all weeds removed.
Above ground seemingly barren; all manner of subtle changes are occurring under the surface.

That is a hopeful thought, Clare. I need to keep the focus on things unseen as we long for spring.
