Dragonfly Stitching

I've had fun making this dragonfly for my friend Valerie.

Lutrador, sheer fabric, machine stitching, cut with soldering iron and beaded. (Inspired by Ineke Berlyn).

...similar colours found here on a frosty gate post yesterday

... the day concluded with a fabulous sunset near St. Mawes, Cornwall.

  1. Your dragonfly is stunning. I could never make anything that small or neat. I love your picture of the fence post, you have a good eye for what transfers from nature to textile.
