Celebrating Contrast

It's the downs that make the ups so good in life,  austerity that makes a splurge such fun in the shops and shared tears and joy that build deep friendships. The Autumn low light slanting through the trees and acid green leaves of Spring against a lowering purple sky. This is what really makes my heart sing.

I celebrate contrast with paint on canvas for it is that which makes the world sparkle to me.
