Recently I have been working on some landscapes for commissions and I have loved it but over the past few days I have resumed work in my more personal style paintings.
For me it is definitely a visitation with an internal landscape and this image shows an unfinished piece which references the merging with the landscape that happens in a state of utter awareness. Seeing is different to being aware.
I am holding in mind that if we can also put into our surroundings the content of a peaceful, benevolent and AWARE mind we could change the world for the better. Awareness brings acceptance, tolerance and ultimately peace.
I’ll be finishing this 40″ x 30″ painting this week. It’s a real joy.
