A day out today with my very wonderful friend Linda. We are both texturophiles and shedoholics. Even though everyone else was visiting the house and church at Calke Abbey in Derbyshire we were cooing and shooting and gathering inspiration from bits of brick walls and the contents of the store areas and garden sheds.

What a joy to have a friend with whom to share so much even though we only meet once or twice a year. Other folks would have us down as mad eccentric fools but we know we share a love of similar inspirations.

  6. Not mad or eccentric at all (or if you are, then so am I !) Inspirational photos, and something I do myself; always looking for colour and texture and something different. And I like to print images of tree bark or similar and print them onto paper or fabric for use in collages.
